Halloween theme

Caterpillar Class are integrating our Halloween Theme into Literacy, Numeracy and Science this week. Our magic potions were a big hit and everyone loved decorating their own pumpkins in Art class too. 🎃👻🧙‍♀️

2nd Class were learning about the skeleton in science and The Day of the Dead in geography so they combined both into their art this week just in time for Halloween! Motor Skills

Our Junior and Seniors Infants are working on their fine motor skills during activity time. Completing lots of different activities: 🔹️Play Dough Time 🔹️Scooper Time 🔹️Being Creative with Buttons and Matchsticks 🔹️Halloween Step by Step Drawing 🔹️Construction Time We spied some wicked witches!🧙‍♀️ Well done everyone!

Columbus Day

Junior and Senior Infants celebrated Columbus Day last week. They learned all about Christopher Columbus, making timelines and maps. They read the greatest explorer book on Friday. Well done to ‘Our Little Explorers’!!

Golden Time

2nd Class have great fun with all the different games during Golden Time! 🎲😊🎲 They completed a circuit for P.E.- lots of different stations and fun! 💪🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏋️‍♂️🏋️‍♀️💪 #Ireland’sfittestclass!

As busy as bees

3rd class were “As busy as bees” last week, learning all about Similes. 😊🐝 Super work everyone! 👏

Planting Bulbs

Lots of ‘green fingers’ in our Junior and Senior Infant class! They were very busying planting bulbs in preparation for the spring time! 🌷🌻🌼 They also tried our new sound wall! 🎶🎶🎶

Autumn

An Autumn Hub in our Junior and Senior Infant Room! Beautiful Autumn Wreaths, Autumn Sensory Poems and even some clay hedgehogs! 🍂🍁🦔
