The Board of Management is set up to manage the school on behalf of the Patron for the benefit of the children in the school and their parents. The Board of Management is made up of representatives of the parents and teachers in the school, representatives of the patron and also community representatives who have a particular interest or expertise.  The Board is made up of volunteers who individually and collectively enrich and contribute to the management and operation of our school. The Board provides leadership and ensures effective management of the school. All eight members of the Board once appointed act together as a unit. Individuals do not act as representatives of various groups within the Board.

Agreed Report 18th November 2021

  • The following policies were updated and ratified:

                               Child Safeguarding Statement

                               Anti-bullying Policy

                               Acceptable Usage Policy

                               Remote Learning Policy

  • Trish Collier was ratified as our Designated Liaison Person and Siobhán Buckley was ratified as our Deputy Designated Liaison Person.
  • Some of our perimeter fencing is currently being replaced following the granting of Emergency Works Funding by the Department of Education.
  • The B.O.M.  expressed their condolences on the passing of our esteemed former principal, Master Der Hartnett. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
  • Our new extension is at the Fire Certificate stage, we are awaiting approval of same.
  • 2nd, 5th and 6th classes are preparing for the sacraments.
  • We will have two student teachers on placement in school during this year.
  • The Board of Management would like to acknowledge the ongoing support and efforts of our pupils, staff and parent body in following the COVID guidelines and procedures, it is very much appreciated.
